I must concur with the rest of the world that Halo 2 is just completely awesome. It’s just a very well-done video game.
Microsoft must be happy, too… 2.4 million copies on Day 1, with $125,000,000 in sales… And that’s not counting people like me, who aren’t quite as hard-core Halo fanatics and waited until the second day to buy it.
For comparison with other things in the entertainment industry, the best opening weekend for a movie was Spiderman, grossing only $115 million.

True. I’d be curious to know what the difference was in the cost to make each of them, however.
