Well, 8 months to a year. It’s hard to really tell. It depends on weather, contrators, and the government all cooperating with us.
Since when is there an tag? And since when does it force-underline?
I really need to brush up on my HTML…

I believe that it came out with the original HTML 4.0 spec, so since 18-Dec-1997, about 6 and a half years ago.
Any underlining you see is either how your browser handles it or a part of LJ’s style sheet… I haven’t looked into it too much. I was just using an acronym, so I marked it appropriately. Most browsers will display the acronym’s definition as a tooltip when hovering over the link.
Leave it to Pete to dig up the obscure stuff. I’m sure he’ll be pulling amazing LJ wizardry before too long.
What’s obscure about HTML specifications?

How the HELL are you graduating grad school 4 years before me when you were a class behind me in high school?!? I certainly haven’t missed any years, have you been skipping ahead?!? Just curious ;-)
Well, with the Academy, I only needed three more years for my B.S. degree. And with the combined B.S./M.S. program, it’s only one more year after that to get my M.S. degree.
