Because my computer is old, and most of the things I want to do with my home system are doable on a Mac, often betterer.
Don’t forget Boot Camp… you get a big enough HD and you can dual-boot Windows and OS X for LAN parties and such.
And if you find an old non functioning NES, you can gut the NES for its case and put the mac mini inside!

Yeah… but I can deal with just using my current system for anything Windows-based that I need to do.
