  1. It gets routed low-priority on an aircraft. Its still 7-10 days. (Or at least, those were the rules when I was writing Morph)

  2. Hmm. I just ran a quote on their web site for it, and by golly, we could send a package ground. That makes our data and rules make a little bit more sense…

  3. The obvious way to ship by ground to Hawaii is with a boat. Getting from the continental US to Hawaii is about 2000 miles; at 15 miles per hour that would take 130 hours (5.4 days). That would eat up most of their time window, leaving them insufficient time to get the package from Worcester to Los Angeles.
