Be careful out there… It’s icy. This will be one of the downsides of moving out to Charlton when our house is built: It’s gonna be a lot harder to get out in winter storms.

  1. For a second there, I also thought this. I think I would have been more surprised if I saw a Flash file depicting a weather forecast being performed by scantily-clad (if clad at all) weathergirls or something.

  2. The only thing I can think NWS ever meaning is National Weather Service… and certainly in context of the word “Forecast” I wouldn’t have thunk that there could be ambiguity…

  3. You both missed what said. Despite the official meaning “National Weather Service”, NWS is commonly used around the Internet to mean “Not Work Safe”. I’m surprised you haven’t come across it on your travels.
